The Abus x Pikeur AirLuxe Supreme Riding Hat is the ultimate choice for riders of all levels, developed to perfectly blend performance, safety and style. Tested to meet current safety standards (VG1, ASTM, Kitemark, PAS), this hat provides high levels of protection in case of a fall, engineered with a lightweight, yet tough, ABS outer shell material.

Ventilation is a crucial requirement in equestrian sports; no-one wants to take off their riding hat to reveal damp, sweaty hair! To avoid this Abus have equipped the AirLuxe with carefully placed internal flow channels which direct the air outwards in a very targeted manner, thus optimising air circulation. There are 4 main channels at the front of the hat, and 17 ventilation openings in total to keep your head feeling fresh, cool and comfortable.

Crafted with ease of wear in mind, the AirLuxe Hat also boasts an innovative Fidlock® magnetic closure on the bio-leather chinstrap. This allows the wearer to fasten and release the chin strap with one hand, without sacrificing safety, and the chinstrap is also adjustable in length for a comfortable fit.

To the back of the hat is an integrated Zoom Air™ adjustment system, which ensures the hat fits the wearer’s head securely and comfortably. A turn dial adjusts the size and fit, while the shaped recess allows room for the rider’s ponytail or hair to sit in place without affecting the fit of the hat. Inside the hat are anatomically shaped, antibacterial padded inserts, which can be removed for washing and replaced with an alternative thickness if required.

With safety the main purpose of the AirLuxe, it is designed with a small, hidden compartment that makes it QUIN-ready. QUIN is a cleverly designed crash sensor that, when linked to the app on your mobile phone, registers a fall and sends a message to your saved emergency contacts is no movement is made without a set timeframe. This sensor is not included with the hat, but is available to add if required.

The Supreme is a truly eye-catching and harmoniously elegant design, with a sophisticated fabric over the top of the hat which is perfectly complemented by gorgeous glitter elements panels that shine in the light.
